The Doherty Engineered Attachments BTR range of Rotary Tilt Buckets uses the same heavy duty hydraulic actuator from the Rotary Tilt Hitch and offers you all of the benefits but at a lower weight and reduced tip radius. This means maximum digging force and maximum payload which equals improved productivity and profitability.
With upto 90 degrees of tilt in each direction the Rotary Tilt Bucket can handle all finishing and contouring jobs with ease. The bucket tilts at a constant speed throughout the range and locks up with no mechanical backlash as soon as the control is released. This precise control enables operators to get the best from their tilt buckets capabilities.
With no cylinders, no pins, no bushes or grease nipples and only two moving parts the BTR range of tilt buckets is practically maintenance free. Because the hydraulic connections are stationary, hose fit up is greatly simplified and the danger of hose damaged is minimised. Another benefit is that the German built actuator has an internal relief valve for overload protection and this eliminates the need to purchase an expensive cross line valve as part of the fitup.
Currently available for 1.5 to 70 tonne excavators.
