Snaplock Quick Coupler

The release of the new Doherty Snaplock coupler heralds a new era in fully automatic quick couplers.

The new Snaplock has been designed to comply with all current and proposed safety standards in Australasia, Europe and the USA – it is a Safe and Fully Automatic coupler which can be used with complete confidence and does not require the operator to leave the cab.

Features of the new Doherty Snaplock Coupler:

The Snaplock Coupler has a fully independent secondary safety lock, which is visible from the operator’s cab, unlocking can only happen when the operator intends to do so, in a safe and controlled manner, which ensures no accidental disengagement. No complicated sequences to follow, to unlock, fully extend the crowd cylinder and flick the switches, to lock, hook the front pin, extend the crowd and flick the switches, no other coupler is as simple.

The Snaplock. Coupler only needs two hoses to operate the hydraulics, just like a traditional coupler. Industry standard safety switches and solenoid valves ensure the Snaplock Coupler is no more expensive to fit up than traditional couplers. If the machine has factory installed quick coupler controls they can more than often be used.
