We are an engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of high quality earthmoving attachments for the construction, demolition and quarrying industries world-wide. We are based in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand and serve the New Zealand market directly through our own sales team and authorised dealers. Overseas markets are served by an expanding distributor and dealer network.
History
Doherty Engineered was established in 1996 by Jeremy and Paul Doherty who have over 25 years of experience in all facets of the manufacturing, construction and quarrying industries. We have combined our wealth of industry related engineering experience with new technology to create durable, high-quality attachments for the construction, demolition and quarrying markets.
Design, Manufacture and Quality
We use the latest 3D Solid Modelling CAD software to ensure our designs effective and fit for purpose. This state-of-the-art software allows us to respond quickly to customer demands for specialised and custom products and provide reliable, cost-effective solutions. A computerised database containing a wealth of excavator specifications sourced globally is used to ensure attachment designs can be developed for all major brand excavators.
The Doherty Engineered manufacturing plant in Papamoa is set up specifically for the efficient manufacture of attachments. We have invested in quality welding plant to ensure all fabrications are to the highest possible standard. All our machining and flame cutting is subcontracted to selected specialised companies who have proven performance in the production of top quality components. This approach ensures that our customers receive quality products at realistic prices, representing outstanding value for money.
